Days 5 and 6 - Field Trip

Sunday May 25th (8:30 AM - 2:00 PM)
  • 2-day field trip on the Mississippi delta. The first day will visit the bayous of Louisiana to examine their response to climate change and human impacts - this tour will be led by Torbjörn Törnqvist (Tulane University). The second day will consist of a tour of New Orleans highlighting damage wrought by Hurricane Katrina and led by Stephen Nelson (Tulane U.).
    • We will meet each day at 8:15 AM SHARP in front of International House to board field trip buses.
