Are you an early career scientist interested in feedbacks between physical and biological processes acting on the Earth's surface? Then we invite you to apply to attend MYRES 2008: "Dynamic Interactions of Life and its Landscape".
MYRES 2008 will take place on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans, May 20 to 23, 2008. The workshop will be followed by an optional three days of field trips around the Mississippi Delta. MYRES will pay airfare and lodging costs for all delegates.
The theme of the workshop will be to formulate a hypothesis-driven framework for examining feedbacks between geomorphology and ecology. Invited presentations will serve as a springboard for active and thorough discussion of the research topic by all conference attendees. Conference delegates will be required to be in attendance during the entire conference, and must present a poster on their research as well as participate in discussions.
